Professor Dr. Joongjai Panpranot is a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. She received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University, USA in 2002 (currently H-index 35). Research of Prof. Joongjai’s group is focusing on heterogeneous catalytic processes for conversion of biomass and CO2 to higher value products. She has published more than 190 articles in peer-reviewed journals (H-index 35). She serves as an international editorial board for Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering and Catalysis and Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Built Environment and is a council member of Asia-Pacific Association of Catalysis Societies. She has received several national and international awards including Young Scientist award from Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of H.M. the King and Young Women Researcher award from the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS)-the Third World Organization for Women in Science (TWOWS)-SCOPUS-Elsevier.
